Road Runner Food Bank at Alamo Navajo

Positive Outcomes took over the Roadrunner Food Bank’s distribution on the Alamo Navajo Reservation in 2020. Figuring out the best ways to distribute 12-15,000 pounds of food at a time was a big logistical problem. Alamo’s Wellness Center stepped in to help, and from there, the two organizations worked together. The journey has included figuring out how to cook food that’s never been seen on the reservation to realizing we all don’t live the same way or have the same essentials in life. Positive Outcomes CEO Franklin Marquez tells us about a couple of those issues.
