Socorro Cross Country Teams Headed to State

Anastasia Zagria won the District 3/4 girls cross country championship, while Kathleen Johnson was second and Kyle Berger was third on the boys’ side at Cobre High School on Friday.

That means both the Socorro Warriors and Lady Warriors cross country teams are headed to the New Mexico state cross country meet after the girls won the district title, and strong individual finishes on the boys’ side also secured a team spot.

The 2025 NMAA Cross Country Championships will take place on November 8, 2025, at Albuquerque Academy
