Civil Air Patrol New Mexico Wing to Host Socorro Show and Tell Event

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) New Mexico Wing is excited to announce its upcoming Socorro Show and Tell, a free community event showcasing the organization’s people, aircraft, vehicles, and programs. The event will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Socorro Regional Airport.

“A Day for the Whole Community” is the theme for this event, which aims to provide an engaging experience for everyone. Attendees will have the opportunity to see static displays of CAP aircraft and vehicles, meet with CAP cadet members and volunteers to hear their stories, and explore various informational booths on cadet programs and volunteer opportunities.

This event is perfect for:

  • Cadets & Prospective Cadets: Discover how to join the Civil Air Patrol and grow as a leader.
  • Community Members: Learn about how CAP supports search and rescue and disaster relief efforts in New Mexico.
  • Aviation Enthusiasts: Tour aircraft and meet the volunteers who fly them.
