A piece of Socorro County history is for sale, with the Escondido School property being posted for sale. The property was converted to private hands years ago and is a local curiosity featured on various social media sites like Facebook, Flicker, and other photo-sharing websites.
However, very little information is written about the school and its start and finish. While there are plenty of bricks in the old schoolhouse, a new owner might be best served by realizing its fantastic views from the 1.416-acre property, which has a well and access to electricity. There is also water access to the Polvadera MDWCA system and paved road frontage.
